Another day

So today I went into school along with some other TAs and few teachers, We Did not ALL strike!
 Have to say tho that I am annoyed by the prospect of still not getting a wage rise (after 2 years) and yet again for another year (or is it 2?) Having to pay more into my pension, for longer and probably getting nothing back :(
BUT it is Christmas coming up and I cannot afford to lose a days pay, as a single parent and the cost of living soaring.......
I also have to add....'What is the point of me striking today?'  'School is closed anyway, little old me not being there will have NO effect whatsoever, I might as well go in and get paid for all the jobs I don't have time to do in school time (so end up doing in my own time)

justablog part one

This is just me trying out a blog...
It's my first time, I'm a blog virgin so go easy on me please :)
Today I have been mostly doing mammoth amounts of washing from my daughter's bedroom and de-fleaing the cats.. wow life is one big bundle of fun.. I would never want a flash back in time for a night to go out partying all night and still have the energy to go out and top up the next afternoon..
There are more serious aspects to what is going on in my life at the moment, but for now I'm easing in gently.. Let's just say that having a parma ham and pea risotto was the highlight of the day ;0
